adding names to stories

Hi everyone, this is my first post on the CHYOO forum, and it is an open cry for help.

I know how to ask people for their names at the start of the story (let's face it, that one's not exactly a stumper) but I just can't figure out how to actually use that information in my story.

I'm sure the answer is obvious and simple, but I can't see it and it's really starting to bug me. Help, anyone?

You type {FIRST_NAME} or {LAST_NAME} where needed. Make sure it is precisely in this form, otherwise it won't work.
