How does one get a picture in one's post? When I go down to "Browse" and tell it to add an attachment...it just adds the link as it were. It doesn't show the actual pic. Example below. How do I get it to SHOW the picture in the post, rather than just a "link"?

you have to link to the image sooooo

If it's something you've got from online, you can simply right click on the image, go to "properties" and then copy the picture address you find there. Once you've got that come back to lit and find the little button above this typing in box which has the little mountains and a sun in it (to the left of the earth hyperlink one) and click on it. Paste in the pictur addy and click OK. type your message in the box and submit reply as per the usual.

WARNING! Don't do this with copyright material, it's not on and it pisses some people off no end :)

The other way adds in another step, which saving the pic to your hard drive (if it's not there already and finding a free image host. (not sure of any off hand BUT I do have the facility to host files on my website, so feel free to ask me if you need a few pics hosting) and upload your image there. once you do that, get the address and add it in using the little mountain button as I explained above.

Does that manke sense?

You can just get a photobucket for hosting too.

Yes, but they don't want you to post any pictures of an - ahem - pornographic nature.

(Neanderthals!)

:cathappy:

If you copy their image tag, you don't have to click the"image" key on here. It's already formatted.

Just a FWIW:

Literotica has configured the attachment function to show a link insted of displaying images because there are so many attachments here a Literotica that having the auto-display turned on slows the server down to a near halt.

Consequently there is no way to get an attachment to display in your post.
