There is a reason for the cookies. It is a highly interactive game, and as you progress through a series of websites while acquiring information they use the cookies you leave behind to track your progress (And your detective skills) to know when to contact you via E-mail and IMs.

I know. I hate standby! It is driving me batty because I want to keep going
Did you opt for the faxes and phone calls? I didn't only because everyone else in t he house would wig out getting calls like that and you can access em in the Alliance window anyway.
I wish I'd done it though, to add to the ...... interactiveness.
(People who like Reality TV like Murder in small town X, for example would probably really adore this game and you get a free trial.)
