Thanks to all that replied. I've posted 'Addicted to Feedback' on the story board (Humor & Satire).

Yeah! It hits the G-spot!

I thought it was both real and funny.

I don't see how it would offend anyone. The ones it might offend are those who would deserve to be offended, but are probably incapable of taking offense. The rest will be inspired to write more feedback to you, praising your grammar, intellect, literary erudition, vacabulary and style, in hopes of getting you off!

Personally, I thought it was so hot, I'm going to go find one of your stories and tell you intellectual stuff about your writing, right now. Happy reading!

P.S. I know I just checked a minute ago, but I gotta go check for feedback on my story now.

Post it and wait for the great feedback.

1) It's very funny. Also, witty and perceptive. It captures the range of characters to be found at Literotica and the Feedback angst of many authors. You carry off the self-effacing tone very well. I wish I could write something with such a light touch.

2) If anyone takes offense, maybe it will cut back on their spam type feedback.

Good one!

Frankly, I found it very funny and pretty much on the mark. :)

If someone finds it offensive, they should (1) get a sense of humor and (2) do what Bill Cosby says, "Have a Coke and a smile."

Love-Hate Relationship

Caroline, thank you for this wonderful piece of humor. It was good for me to read it and its responses, as I’ve recently gotten “creeped out” by some feedback.

What’s odd is the conflict between wanting to see the positive feedback and finding more than a few that go over (in some cases, way over) the line.

Thanks for reminding me to maintain my sense of humor.

Carol
