Add a photo to my profile

I'm new here and can't figure out how to add those pics that show up beside people's posts. Can anybody help me?

After another 99 posts we may just let you put this up....

Once you have 100 posts your avatar page is unlocked, and you can open it from the User CP page.

Click on the User CP link in the menu bar, then find the Edit Avatar link in the left menu and click it. From there, follow directions.
