This would be to meet a friend who is in iraq at the moment. Maybe I should have titled it differently.
Okay, if anyone has been wondering. I've been sick for almost a month. I had some kind of intestinal virus and then the flu and now allergies are kicking me around all while I'm trying to recover from the other stuff. I've been sleeping a lot and not really talking to anyone.

I knew you had not been posting, but did not realise you were unwell.
I hope you are back on the mend now.
Summer in Amsterdam sounds a good place to start to feel better.
I have never beenthere but my eldest went and the youngest one plans to go end of June beginning of July as part of becoming 18 (a sort of rite of passage)
If you pass by a tall skinny kid smoking pot and watching the world go by from an internet cafe, it will probably be him.
I just want him to leave the pot and the internet alone long enough to have fun and get laid!

Everytime i see the title of this thread I can't help but think of a book I read.
It's the Wheel of time series by Robert Jordan.
At one point in the books, there's a culture that's encountered and the women who are born with special power in them are collared with this special collar called an a'dam. If they try to use the power, on the a'dam or on the person who wears the bracelet of the a'dam then they feel sick. Also if they try to pick up the bracelet connected to their a'dam they get sick feeling. If they try to hurt the woman wearing the a'dam controlling them, then they feel the pain twofold.
It would be a very intresting addition to submission, so i wasne't suprized when "adam" read to me as "a'dam"
