Adam Sandler is the Jerry Lewis of our generation. One day we are all going to wake up and no one will think he is funny. We will look back on him and his funny voices and thing, what the hell is that all about? Remember Jerry Lewis was very populer at one point, but he did not endure. I can only hope the same will be true of Sandler.

(Piece of shit car was pretty funny though. I'll give him that. And the Hannuchah song made me chuckle.)

Adam Sandler is a comic Genious! I've never seen that thing that Cheri posted before, but I thought it was very clever. But if you have Napster, download the Adam Sandler comedy sketches called "The cult" (I think - but it's SOMETHING cultish, and it's brilliant!), and "Ode to My car" is good too. And if you're still not convinced, rent Happy Gilmore. Funniest movie ever!

I can't realy explain it myself actualy. He's a 'take it or leave it' type of comedian. If you like the type of comedy he does, then you'll love his movies and if you don't like it, then you'll hate his movies. I myself enjoy the 'bathroom' style humor that he does since it's usualy going to do what it can to get a laugh out of you. Kinda like the Farrely(sp?) brothers in alot of ways.

I mean, how can you not love such lines as "You can do it Nicky, kick him in his hairy balls!" or "Any attempt to cheat, especially with my wife, who is a dirty, dirty, tramp, and I will probably just snap"?

And yes I am an Adam Sandler fan. Have been since I saw him in Airheads. Speaking of Airheads:

"Who'd win in a wrestling match, Lemmy or God?"

"Lemmy?"

"Bzzz!"

"God!"

"Wrong, dickhead, trick question, Lemmy IS God!"

How can you argue with that logic?

I think it's morbid fascination; horrific, yet somehow it's hard to look away. Funny, but not 'ha ha' funny. Then again, I laugh at some of his stuff so what do I know?

I don't get it either, except for the Hanukah song. That was pretty funny. Maybe he is an acquired taste?? I know that the younger people I work with think he is hysterical.

He is one of the newer comics of our time and he is totally cool all of his movies are awesome. And as a stand up comic he is one in a million. You have to give it time and maybe see his stand up routine he is cool I know that Wizard and I just love him.
