my little sis is taking the ACTs tomorrow morning and is really nervous. anything I can tell her to help?

Tell her to wear loose, comfortable clothing, get at least eight hours sleep the night before, drink several glasses of water just before the test (Seriously, hydrolyzing is a proven method for enhancing brain function) providing of course that she doesn't suffer from an overactive bladder and take plenty of number two pencils.

OH Tell her not to forget her Scientific Calculator and make sure it doesnt have graphing capabilities thats a no no!! OH and you need a picture ID to take the test!!

No, it's very easy for someone of legal age to be here to have a sibling of the right age to be taking the ACT.

I took mine a year or so ago, and the best advice I have is DON'T PANIC.

One other thing... tell her to go with her gut, the first answer that pops out at her is usually the right one!

The thing about taking a test is.. you have to start preparing yourself weeks or months before you take it. No amount of water or sleep will help if she doesn't know. If she does know however, is there anything to be worried about?

gingersnap, sorry to burst your bubble, but I already told Kait everything I could think of. I'm not underage, though I probably am younger than most of you, and I respect your wisdom and wanted to see if there was anything I'd missed. when I took mine there was no advice in the book or anything, and I didn't know it was good to be hydrated before a test. So I asked you people because everyone knows something that no one else knows, and it might only work for you, but damn! I was just asking!
