I'm a healthy 18 year old man...I've never had sex so I know I don't have STDs but I do have what seems to be acne, 1 red pimple looking thing on my scrotum and a few bumps on my crotch, above my penis, nothing on my penis though.

Does anyone have any explinations for this or know if it's normal since I'm still kind of young?

Thanks in advance...

Just from the description I am gonna guess folliculitis. Often mistaken for acne. Pretty much infection of the hair follicle from an ingrown hair. Looks exactly like a pimple but have it checked out to be sure. At work we treat it with an antibiotic Augmentin and if its bad a topical cream as well. If this is what you have it sounds pretty minor and you may be able to get away with just the topical cream.

I'm with boston_bww, on this. The only other thing it could be is HPV - but those are warts, and thus not red. You can get this in MANY ways besides sex. If the bumps look like warts, go to the doctor ASAP. PM me if you have any more questions. Good luck! :rose:

I think I had the same thing a few months back. Do you trim you pubic hair? If so, be careful, I think I "knicked" myself with a trimmer and ended up with an ingrown hair. Just don't pick at it and see your doctor. You have to turn your head and cough anyway, so you might as well have him check it out while he's down there. ;)

Gender Disclaimer: No offense intended by implying the doctor was male. I don't think I've heard of a female doctor administrating any sort of penis test to male clients.

I wasn't offended, but I just wanted to put in my 2 cents. There are male gynos - come on, what can they REALLY know about a vagina? Anyway, if male gyno exist, I'm sure there are females who administrate penis tests too. Anyway, just thought I'd say my piece ...

And if you find one, please pass on the contact information. If I am going to be handled by a person 20 years older than me, I am much more comfortable with it being a woman. ;)

But I only put that in there because some people take offense to gender assumptions.

I understand. I'll be on the look-out for a female doctor for ya ... I'll make sure she's a hottie too! ;)

I love being pampered. :D

I'll do my best to not be spoiled.

p.s.: Of course I would be willing to share with 1stTimingMan... :(

I'd lop that fucker off now...or maybe use some duct tape and rip all your pubes out...

Seriously..sounds pretty normal to me..but then again I dont' generally go around checking out cocks for acne... :)

Put away any thoughts of embarassment, and go see your family doctor.... They see things like this every day, and not only know just how to reassure you that everything is ok, but they also know what the appropriate course of treatment is !

If you were a woman, I dare say you would have been sent to see your gynocologist in seconds !

Could be a case of heat rash, dude.

Baby-powder your pubes (or use "Gold Bond" powder), and consider taking an extra pair of underwear to change into at lunchtime.

Or, some people have unusually oily skin, and pores get blocked REALLY easily. Good news is that that sort of skin still looks young as you get older...

Don't worry - it doesn't sound like an STD.

Recently I cautioned an indivudual about using lots of protection . . . I once knew a sub whose husband enjoyed her having sex with lots of men and women. She got a std and passes it on to her husband who was pissed at her.
Protection, protection and more protection. You can't get too much of protection!
