No, she's not sick... yes, she's exhausted... but we're at my mom's house, and for some horrible reason only she can fathom, she's decided that sleep is not an option tonight. :(

Unfortunately, I can't do what I'd do at home, which is put her in bed, close the door and let her cry for 10 minutes until she decided to sleep...

92 year old grandmother, step father who works at 6am and mom who suddenly thinks it's cruel to let a child cry, have all conspired against me...

Anyone wanna buy a 2 year old? She's wonderful, really... cheap too! ;)

laundry? maybe not... but she's currently sweeping the floor.

need some help sleeping dilly darlin?

She'll drop in a while. You know , i know it, everyone with kids knows it.

The only question then will be... cover her with a blanket and leave her alone (the only sensible option if she's a light sleeper!) or pick her up (and chance her waking) to take her into bed?

Oh yeh.
And she'll be all crabby tomorrow, too.

But you already know all this.

Normally, I'd leave her wherever she fell... cuz she WILL wake up. But here, the 92 year old grandmother would trip over her and break something, and it'd be all my fault. I'm hoping she passes out near the bed so I can just drag her over to it... :D
