According to some on the GB's thinking if you don't like taco's you are racist

I like tacos and tamales, but not sweet tamales.

I do not understand sweet tamales. They should not be sweet. That's like yankee cornbread. Blasphemy.

I love carnitas tacos, mole, menudo and pozole. And almost every other dish from our neighbors to the south.

Unrelated, but I picked up hatch chiles for ten cents a pound today. Ten cents! They were just trying to get rid of them. I bought a whole box, but just realized I don't really have time to do anything with them, which means I will just roast and puree them, then freeze them in small portions for soups or something. Damniiiit. Wish I had time to really cook this weekend.

Yum!

Hang some up and dry them.

Also, enchiladas, chimichangas, taquitos, guacamole, chili relleno, albondigas, carne asada, lengua, and SOPAPILLAS!!!

Genius! I should ask St Peter or Ishmael how to do that, I know they both have posted about hatch chiles. I never have dried chiles, but it seems a great way to preserve them. I can make Hatch chile powder.

The rest of your post made me hungry. Too late to eat now, but I only had pita chips for dinner. Boo.

Just string them up hang them where it's dry.

Chili powders are a great way to flavor masa when making tamales too. When you want to give them extra zing, make a chili roux and add it for flavor. They come out very pretty, colorful oranges and reds too.

Given the damp nature of our PNW climate, do they take a long time to dry?

I like Korean tacos, so that either makes me a fusion racist or not a fusion racist or someone who has taste buds.

I will fight you tooth and nail and disagree with you here. It's not southern BBQ, no. It is western BBQ. But then I've never been fond of slathering sauce all over something to make it edible.

Btw...who BBQs lobster? Sounds like a good way to dry it out.
