Accidentally Miscategorized Story

I just now submitted a story that was supposed to have been under Incest (a souped-up retelling of Genesis 19) and due to oversensitivity of my mouse or cursor, it somehow ended up in the non-human category, as I found to my shock when I saw it Pending. I sent an e-letter asking them to fix this, but will the editors recognize what has happened and recategorize it on their own? Has this ever happened to any of y'all?

You can change it while it's pending. Just click pending and you can edit your story.

Laurel will reclassify it. She will move stories if they appear to be in the wrong category or if they fit better in a different one.

Yeah, I've done it. Most notably Erotic Reviews when I mean Erotic Couplings.

While it is still pending, click on the link under the word "pending" to edit your story. I don't remember if youcan edit the header (title, categeory, comments, etc,) or not, but you CAN insert a note to Laurel at the beginning of your story telling her that it's miscategorized.

Thanks to everybody who told me how to fix my goof, I've done it now; it's where it belongs.
