Accidental Prostitute

I have an idea for a story that i want to write but am currently hitting a bit of block so i am calling for HEEEELP.

A married woman, mid to late thirties or even early forties is bored with her husband although she still loves him, or the lifstyle that he gives her maybe. Married a long time they only have sex once or twice a month and it's degenerated into her laying back and thinking 'What shall i do for dinner'. I'm sure you know the scene.

Chatting to a close friend one day she confides that she misses the active and very versatile sex that she and her husband had many years ago. The friend say's that she knows a mutual male friend that would love to have sex with her.

So far i have done the wrestling with the mind and admitting that it could be fun as the guy is good looking and all that stuff. The friend has offered the use of her flat/house for any meet that may take place. What the wife doesn't know is that the friend charges the man 'expenses' for any meet that may take place without the wife knowing. The friend tells the wife that the guy would go crazy for this outfit or that outfit next time and gives the wife the money to buy the clothes. Later she starts charging for the use of the flat/house.

Somehow i need the wife to find out or suspect that she is being prostituted out but i dont want to use black mail for her to continue and i dont want her to just accept what is happenning, i also dont want her to stop and this is where i am stuck. I want something other than the usual stuff and hope someone can come up with an original idea or at least something different

Maybe have her meet the guy at a hotel, a nice one. He stammers about a payment up front, but she immediately says no, and almost leaves. Things settle down and they talk and it leads to sex.

As she's doing the act, her mind races about if its wrong or not, thinks about her husband, her life. How she REALLY could use extra money, but being a prostitute is totally out of the question.

The next morning, the guy is gone, she wakes up and goes downstairs, proud that she didn't prostitute herself. As she checks out, (maybe she doesn't know the room is taken care of by her friend), the man has left an envelope with her, for twice the "going rate"-a sum of money too large to pass up. She needs it, takes it, and this is her reluctant start. ?

One day she sees her friend, the house owner, having lunch with her last 'date'. So, she follows her for a few days and sees her meeting with some of the others, including the next guy she's supposed to meet.

So she turns the tables on her by talking her into going on a double date. The date goes well, and the friend ends up sleeping with the guy, little does she know that she's also doing it for money. Maybe they end up secretly pimping each other for a while, then come clean and become partners.

I like a combination of the two replies so far.
She follows the friend and see's her on a date so she talks her into taking her on a double date.

The guy she meets is staying in a hotel they go back there and in the morning the man is gone but has left an envelope with a stack of money in it and a note saying, 'A bonus for a great evening.'

When she tells her friend she also gives her some money as her cut of the 'normal fee' This is when her friend confesses to being a prostitute. While she feels dirty about what she has done the money is too much to ignore

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the whole premise (which I love the idea) was that the wife doesn't realize she's being prostituted? If so, I would imagine the "friend" making a comment like 'Do you think I could see you again sometime soon?' ... or something long those lines.

That would string the process out over several encounters, where the girlfriend then makes suggestions as to clothing and so on ... maybe they go on a shopping trip together, etc. The wife then says she can't afford the outfits, cuz hubby would see the charges ... so the girlfriend offers to buy it (and says the wife can pay it back) ...

Maybe somewhere along the line the girlfriend suggests she meet "another friend"??? Basically string the process out, gradually raising suspicion.

By this time, I'd assume, the wife is feeling younger, more appreciated, more exuberant, more energetic, in general feeling great about herself, realizing that she enjoys the sexual attention of these different men.

Then I see the struggle being when she figures out she's been prostituted, it won't necessarily be about that, but the fact that she has enjoyed it all this time!

Your absolutely right. It was the not realsing that was important. But sooner or later she would have to find out or the story would die. Or so i thought.

Your scenario would be perfect for the beginning, mixed with the other two i think i could progress with the story.

I do however welcome any further comments that may help the progression of the story or character/s

Hello, I am new here but I was intrigued by your idea and had a couple of thoughts:

People tend to believe what they want to believe until the evidence is in their face. Your heroine might start to get clues but is blind to them until she really confronts the truth. For example,

After a while, she starts to wonder where her close friend keeps meeting people who want to have sex with her? Perhaps she figures that her friend has begun touting her to strangers that the friend has met out and about, but blindly accepts the explanation that her friend is just trying to help her become sexually satisfied.

Perhaps the friend begins to push her envelopes, like asking her if she would like to have sex with two different men on the same day, maybe 6-8 hours apart. Or she asks if the heroine is interested in a threesome with a couple? Or interested in women in general. Your call on whether she is intrigued or not, but the point being -- she should be suspicious but instead decides to think that her friend is just trying to to push her boundaries.

Perhaps she gets the schedule wrong and she shows up at the house on the wrong day, and sees someone she has previously met with another woman that she doesn't know? The friend makes up some excuse that is really flimsy, but that your heroine desperately wants to believe even though she's starting to think she knows better.

In the beginning, the friend is very flexible about arranging meeting times. After a while, the friend becomes increasingly less so -- asking her if she can meet someone who "really wants her," but only if she can meet at 3 pm on a Thursday, or asking her to schedule a regular time of the week to meet someone.

After the last incident, she is finally convinced that the friend is up to something more than the heroine's own best interest and confronts her. Maybe the friend is unrepentant, or maybe the friend has saved half the money and gives it to her (less clothing or other expenses), or maybe the friend just lies and she has to dig deeper.

OR, the whole thing could blow up when a date has been scheduled with her husband. Maybe her husband gave the friend a false name, paid in cash, etc. etc.

Anyway, didn't mean to say so much. But I really like your idea. So I just wanted to offer some thoughts to help you out!

Interesting problem - how to get her into the 'life'

without knowing what she's actually doing and then actively embracing it? It sounds like a plot for a romantic comedy: 'Sexless in Seattle' ....Seriously, there would have to be some element of comedy or else the whole premise hinges on her ignorance of the situation, that makes it almost macabre, exploitative in essence.....Gosh, don't mind me, I'm just thinking too much.
I'd just build some characters and supporting situations (she's just finished having her monthly morning session with her husband and he's getting ready to golf. she wonders what if they were in a hotel or he was so excited that he wanted to spend the day with her...she wonders 'what if'

For those of us who like stories with realistic characters and believable plots, this idea has lots of potential.

Please, when you write it, don't ruin it by putting too much anatomical detail in; remember you are writing an erotic story, not a pathologist's report.

Anyone who has read one of my stories will know that i am guilty of far to much detail far too often. Something that i am trying to correct. Sometimes though when the imagination flows and the fingers follow, the words just keep appearing. But i am trying lol

Yes i think i am settled on her finding out and reluctantly going along with it as the money is just too good to miss, and so is the sex.
