Hello again. I figured it would be better if I posted this separately, as it relates to something that I want to write, and not to have written for me. I mentioned in my other thread that I'm totally blind. I've been a writer of regular fiction since the fifth grade, but only started writing erotica this year, some of which I hope to have published here. Usually, I write my stories as a sighted individual, but I've started creating one told from the viewpoint of a blind person. It's about a girl who gets the opportunity of a lifetime-- a job working at an erotic massage parlor. So, my question is this. Blind porn anyone? Seriously!

I think everything has been covered extensively, except for a blind person having sex, not to many of those, I ran across one but it was third person and I dislike third person stories. I'm actually toying with the notion of doing one myself, but it's kinda hard to do a blind person having sex when your not. Personally, I find the idea of a sighted person writing from a blind point of view to be both touching and intriguing. Many years ago, in the Second Age of Middle Earth, I had a blind girlfriend. That was so different! I couldn't begin to explain how strange it was, not in the perverted sense but how it affected the relationship in the most unexpected ways.

Welcome to the Forum and I think it would be wonderful to read erotica written from a Blind Person's perspective. I certainly would be very keen to read your work.

I am one of those sighted people who has written a story about an older disillusioned woman who finds hope and happiness with a very sexy and dynamic blind guy. It's called "Discovering Daniel" and is also written from the third person pov, but the inspiration for the story came from the fact that I have known several blind people and their amazing and positive outlooks on life have been awesome. The response that I got to the story was also extremely heartwarming and very rewarding. It ranged from sighted readers, some married to blind people as well as people with other handicaps, all of whom enjoyed and felt a powerful connection to the characters in the story.

So, don't hesitate, go right ahead and write. You have a great market of readers out there who will appreciate your efforts.

I think a blind person writing about blind sex is an INCREDIBLE IDEA. Most people dont have any clue as to how the blind live from day to day much less contimplate the unique complexities of there relationships and the perceptions of sex. like if all you could do was feel and not see then that would kind of change the formulas compleatly. I mean think of how frustrating it would be sometimes. I wonder if blind people orgasm easier or feel more because they are more in tune with the sounds and sensations around them. I bet when they have a fantasy or dream what kind of sensations are they based on. It would be like a whole new world with elements in it that seeing people havent even concidered or thought about.
