I am a bi guy and I work with two gay dudes. The older guy in his 50's who never seems to STFU loves to tell us of his past in The Good Ole Days of glory holes, men bathrooms and indoor movie theaters. I hate this term but he would be described as a Queen as that is how he describes himself.

The thing I found shocking was stories of how he would suck off a "straight" guy in a public toilet then on occasion get punched in the face and called names after the guy shot his wad. I never heard of such a thing and seems kind of bizarre but I do not think he is lying.

Talk about denial. Has anybody ever heard of this happening?

Yes, it used to be very common behavior. The reason it isn't any more is because the internet has made it easier for gay men to hookup safely, without having to take those chances.

But a few older men are kind of addicted to it, IMO, their version of rough sex.

He would have been a teenager... those glory hole and tea house days kinda left for good by the end of the 70's when AIDS came around.

That's not that fucked up, actually... that happens a lot around here. Guys get put in the hospital mostly by other guys that used to be friends with them until they decided to experiment and one found out he liked it. Guys get lynched because of this- in my high school this happened to a kid on the football team- the guy he slept with beat the hell out of him, broke ribs and shit, then tied him naked to a goal post and left him to bleed out. Took his clothes, his phone, everything. Luckily, it was a public place, so someone found him and took him to the hospital. He wouldn't press charges; but it's pretty common knowledge that the cops wouldn't have done anything anyway. His mom tried to get the school to do something because it happened on the school football field, but the principle said that she'd have to press assault charges and the guy absolutely wouldn't do it. He was pretty fucked up about the whole thing. They wound up moving away.

This is a really big part of the reason that I'm so scared all the time. You never know who you can trust.

this is sadly true
the public and family pressure the religous guilt sadly take a terrible toll
I have had to defend myself against so called straight guys that I have blown unfortunately for for them I can box realy fucking box
the church has made us so afraid of ourselves that we lash out at those closest
unfortunately this is usually our lovers

I was a teen in the pre-AIDS late 70s/early 80s. This was VERY COMMON. I remember the stories of the bathrooms, the theaters, the pool changing rooms. I saw the men in their 30s hanging out in highway rest areas for no reason: high school best friend clued me in on why.
