OK, i read them both and I thought that a lot could come out of it. but I think that in the current form they are not as "useful" as they could be.

Here is my idea. If you all like it, I'd love to see it, if not I'll just read the others :)

OK,

Instead of a single thread, posting in it once each day. We have each day a single thread and everyone can then discuss that quote, or thought, or whatever.

Once that day is done then the topic is locked. (thus no ongoing flamewars) It also allows everyone to then concentrate on the new topic.

Once per month, week, whatever a mod or appointed person adds each day's topic to an archive thread. Kind of how the Library is done, except ordered by date.

It's just an idea and I think it could be interesting to see.

Or...........................

When we post a quote we could include a link from the thread it appeared in. That way people would be encouraged to read some of the information. Perhaps people will be so inclined to bump the thread and share new thoughts and ideas.

Or maybe both.

Red, I like your idea. Include a link to the thread that the quote came from. That way the thread can be bumped for discussion, if folks want to discuss it.

Let's not re-invent the wheel here.

Keeping it simple will give this whole idea a better chance of ongoing success.

Love Red's idea, and thanks NCShin for introducing the thought tank on this issue.

Yes, it was not intended to be so complicated. It is just a light-hearted and semi-fluffy thing.

Remember I am grabbing my quotes from existing discussions so having a derivative discussion about a derivative quote would become a little too much for some people. ;)

NCShin: Please feel free to start new topics about whatever grabs your interest. If you see an overlooked question or throwaway comment in an old thread, just copy the quote and jump straight into a new thread. I did it here:

https://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=215004

Edit: It was requested, so I will start putting a link to the original thread with each quote. It might not be too helpful because some threads are several pages long, and the quote might not be germaine to the main thrust of the thread, but I will add a link regardless just for sake of completeness. :)
