As a result of several of my posts, I have received numerous inquiries over time about my experiences with my husband and swinging.
Ours was limited to our city. While we made a trip to Hedonism during this time, we did not engage in any swapping.
I am aware there are others on Lit who are, or have also been involved in swinging. Certainly, there are others with more extensive experience than I. Given the number of curious Lit members, I thought a thread devoted to questions and perspectives on swinging would be warranted. So, please, chime in with questions and responses.
Here is my story, FWIW...
Approximately 10 years ago I began reading stories on Lit. This lead to me writing about a couple of my more benign fantasies and sharing one or two with my husband. After a time, we decided to check out a swinging site online and ultimately met our first couple. We had several meetings prior to our first "date" and really enjoyed one another's company. We had our first experience all in the same hotel room and a few other subsequent dates in separate rooms. Unfortunately, the husband was not able to engage in intercourse with me and the wife began to develop feelings for my husband. We subsequently started going to a couple of different clubs. The largest had recently been shut down after wide spread publicity and exposure. The others were a little more remote and low-budget. We had some great, and not so great, experiences hooking up with people on-site.
After a time, we became involved in a long-term friend group of swingers. We went to house parties and socialized outside the clubs and houses. I ended up enjoying all the attention I was getting from men and my husband's insecurities got the better of him. So, eventually, after a few instances of disappointing failed attempts of men trying to fuck me, or finding men to whom I was very attracted, but who's wives my husband was not attracted to, we decided to call it quits. That was about 5 years ago.
I would go back to it in a heartbeat. But, my husband is not interested. So, there ya go and here I am.
