my mum had an appointment with her cardiologist today and well, she picked me up from the train station after work and looked rather tired/puzzled...she had this look on her face that you just can't place to one single emotion.
I asked her what is wrong and she just said that her heart wouldn't be working all that well. I knew that she had some minor heart problems before - something that runs in my family. She tried to hide her medical reports and everything but when she took a nap I read them. She even tried to hide them because she knows that I know my medical language as well as she does (she's a nurse).
It doesn't look good at all... not at all. Her heart is enlarged, her coronary arteries are partially blocked and her blood flow is down by a fair percentage while i bloodpressure is of course constantly rising. She is on the bestest way to have a cardiac arrest which cpuld be potentially fatal according to what I could see from the x-rays and the ECG.
I really don't know what to think or do. I really don't.
