What is it about a song or a band that makes you devour the sounds like a starving animal.

For my part I need extremes of sophistication.

It either needs to be the modulated screech of Banshees (Dolores O'riordon and the Caranberries, or Alanis Morrisette)
The sultry chanting of succubi (Zettai Unmei Mokushiroku, Luscoius Jackson)
Or the unstained intonations of angels (Theme from Fruits Basket, Sixpence None The Richer)
Mind you a good dirge is always good (Carmina Burana, Ai No Fugue)

What it's about for me is feeling, proficiency and intensity.

But what about you?

Michael Bolton has always touched a nerve deep down in me, bringing my inner spirit and love to the surface.

This will surely get me some cyber pussy

How am I suppose to live without you?

To me, it's all about my mood at the time. I go to the extremes also, but for different reasons.

Flamenco to flutes, metal to Mozart, and Opera to O-Town. (Ok, not O-town, but it did fit the alliteration nicely.)

Only thing I can't listen to is some country music and some of the improvisational jazz. The lack of a defined rhythm just makes my head hurt.

I don't really have a specific type of music that beckons me. I have been told I have very diverse musical tastes. It's all about the individual song to me...if it speaks to me it does, whether it be jazz, alternative, country or whatever. Music soothes my soul, I think it is the best therapy in the world...and it's free. You can always find something that mirrors your mood and says exactly what you would like to say.

met a girl thought she was grand
fell in love found out first hand
went well for a week or two then it all came unglued
in a trap trip I cant grip
never thought I'd be the one who'd slip
Then I started to realize I was living one big lie
she fucking hates me...

Well right its new Chilli Peppers. I do love a man without a shirt and a sock on his weenie...(sophisticated nuff for ya)

This morning I listend to Bartok-Magnificent Mandarin Suite, Hungarian sketches...feeling polyethnic and chromatic...

Tonite it'll probably all go to hell with something like

i dunno...

ill keep you posted...

its just a minor thing and im a minor king...

Right now I'm listening to Ani Difranco's "Untouchable Face". She's mirroring my mood perfectly at this moment.

It's a toolbox for me. I put in what suits my mood , or to create the one I want. I would die without music..
