Unless there is a contest in progress, it takes about three days. If it is going to be rejected, it might take longer or, if the story is novel length, that would take longer too.

They don't edit your stories upon submission. You, the author are expected to pick up the tab on the editing. Well, not so much the tab, but a round for the house wouldn't be out of place.

About three to four days, maybe a bit more if they are running a contest, or if there's a sale on at Servers R Us.

Sometimes it goes faster than that. Sometimes much slower. I'm actually waiting on a couple myself and its been.... oh two or three days I suppose. But I don't think I've ever had a story take more than a week. In fact sometimes when I enter stories in the Contests they get accepted faster than usual.

Edit: And if to prove me right one of my stories LITERALLY just got accepted only a little while after making this post. Go fig.
