a question for the recipients of the benefits of ribbed or otherwise enhanced condoms: does it make a meaningful difference?

I actually prefer plain, normal condoms to ribbed or otherwise enhanced ones. I've even found some brands (particularly Lifestyles' ribbed condoms) to be painful. Durex has a product called "Mutual Pleasure" that isn't too bad - they've got little bumps inside and out, and my hubby describes the sensation as "interesting." However, I'm exceptionally sensitive to enhanced condoms, so we can really only use them if I've had a LOT of foreplay - anything less than that and they make intercourse unpleasant. We generally stick to non-enhanced lubricated condoms.

Can't say that I have not tried it. It is a great experiance and I would do it again. I still think the best condoms out there are the non lubricated Trojans. They give you the most feeling.
