? about body image

I'm coming up to 48 years old and have put on about 10 pounds more than I like, mostly around the belly and upper arms. I've just joined a gym so hopefully I can tone up and lose that bit of weight along with getting myself fit.

I've had 2 children, the youngest is 18. After she was born I got the baby pooch and stretch marks. I'm happy with the rest of me (I have long slim legs and nice perky boobs) but want to be able to fit into skirts and jeans without struggling!

I want to do this for me, not for others. Gil loves me just the way I am :) *It helps that he has a pregnancy fetish though* :D

is found between her ears. If you think and act like you are sexy then you are sexy!
When guys are making love or getting laid they are not thinking, "boy her tummy is getting big" They are thinking, "Yess Yess Yess I am getting laid!!!!!!"

My wife and I have had 2 children. Her body isn't what it was when we met. I loved her body then. I love her body more now because of what it has given me. The 2 greatest gifts I could have ever asked for.

Take this from a man who loves his wife more then she will ever know, He loves you and your body but you first.

I love your reply. That is how it should be, I guess. But the part you highlighted.... is not entirely true for all men, unfortunately. I had one guy actually say to me "oh, you do have a belly, oh well....", when he was already on top of me and ready to enter, so to speak. Well, duh yeah! I did have one. That was a long time ago when I was thinner than I am now.

I can tell you that thát remark did not help very much. Guys will tell you you are overweight, even when you think you are quite OK to look at. Guys will be assholes about that and women will rather forget (and not mention) than repead those remarks. Only we won't forget.... that's the problem...

awwww I wish my fiance would tell me this!!! What a guy you are!

Love is blind, or at least it blinds us to imperfections in our partners.

I love my SO and even though she complains about being overweight I honestly can't see it.

yet another good man out there...I keep telling him I want to loose weight and he tells me not too so I guess I should take that as a compliment?

I relate to poor body image. My finace' and I have great sex all the time. We have lots of sex and he is always hard for me. He loves my ass - the size, shape, resiliancy, everything....I know he loves it and he tells me all the time. I will not let him look at it in certain positions though, because I have too much cellulite (on my butt and thighs). I am 23 years old, work out all the time, and I'm a personal trainer, so even more so I feel I should not have it. I know it is genetic and there is nothing I can do about it, but it makes me so self-concious. He can't understand why I will never let him look at my ass and I do not want to tell him, because I don't want to bring my poor self-image into our sex life. What to do and what do guys really think about that?
