I recently wrote my first erotic story, something I wrote for my boyfriend who's now overseas, and he though it was pretty good for a first timer. I also recently decided to post it on Literotic, and it was approved yesterday. Someone commented on it <my first comment> and they said they think the guy in it is a jerk, but I though myself that he was written as more of a good, kinda thoughful guy. I dunno, maybe it's just my perception though.

A couple of the paragraphs were a little large for online viewing, but the story is hot I didn't scan this one extensively for grammer or anything, I just read it, and my brain pretty much corrects those sort of errors in my head automatically unless I'm looking for them.

The person who commented must not understand how a light D/s relationship works. I'm in one on a "when we feel like it" basis, just an occasional kink fetish that comes over us both.

Unless a person can grasp that the s is getting exactly what they want from the encounter, it just looks like the D is a prick. They skip over the ending and other crucial parts of the narrative that explain the relationship because they've already formed their opinion.

I wouldn't worry about that comment, not everybody will grasp the story and it is always possible it was just someone being a troll, low voting and leaving nasty comments just for the sake of doing so without having ever even read the story.

I couldn't understand why you received such a negative comment for your first effort on Literotica.

I enjoyed it and although I noticed a few spelling errors, they didn't distract from the story for me. In the next part it would be great to see more character development and some background to the story.

Just my thoughts, but don't let negative comments put you off. Keep on writing and enjoy what you do.
