ABC News will no longer show the plane hitting the WTC

This is pretty interesting, but I agree with them, and think they may stop showing the buildings collapse as well. At those exact moments several thousand people were killed. It has to be incredibly painful for the friends and relatives who died to see those images over and over again.

I found myself looking away when they did air those images simply because I would get a horrible sickening feeling every time I saw it. I still see it in my sleep. I dreamt last night that the terrorists massively bombed the US - buildings, schools, churches, stadiums, etc. It was vivid and bloody.

I just wish they had done it sooner. To show those pictures of people jumping from the buildings was to me crass. I think sometimes in the zeal to be complete in their coverage they forget what memories they are making for the families of the victims.

When they first showed it I wnet in to shock and just stared at the screen. I watched for what seemed like hours upon hours. Now that it is over and I only see clips of it, I cringe and turn my head away, It makes my heart ache.
