The second chapter is very long too, although it is also very repetitive, it was better.

The author is writing in first person from a couple of povs, and using their thoughts to tell the story.

I would say that its at least 50% too long. The story is in there, but I'm starting to skim.

It has a VERY high rating though. It clearly has an audience, but then again, so did All My Children.

Pithy... Hmm, I think I'm starting to see why you've liked my holiday offerings.

I'm a reader from way back. I don't watch television at all.

So I read the long ones, the short ones...whatever. I prefer the serials and I find myself really looking forward to the next installment of whatever I'm reading currently.

The two that are current automatic 5s from me are Sigil and New-Hire.

I don't watch TV anymore, but I do binge on the occasional Netflix or Amazon series.

Are your comments relevant for any book or only your Lit reading? Thanks for the recommends.
