Okay, I feel better now.

Cat

(Hurricane season started today and already they are working on stressing people out.)

i thought it was an emergency so i came to administer first aid...but i wouldnt have given you CPR anyway so you probably would have died...lucky youre feeling better

I heard about a week ago that this is supposed to be a pretty bad season. Luckily it doesn't usually hit us that hard (southeast TX), but ya never know.

Damn, I miss beignets, but I'm glad I don't live in Baton Rouge anymore just for that hurricane reason.

I saw the long thread title and my first thought was -

"I'M CUMMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!"

So sorry.

Please resume your regularly scheduled stresses.

(Sorry about the hurricane stuff. Trying to Reason with Hurricane Season -We don't see too many of those in Kansas.)

Nah, that would have been preceded by a large dopey grin.

Yeah you don't have to worry about these big slow moving Blow Jobs from Mama Nature. You just have to deal with the small, fast ultr-violent ones there.

I thought that the stressing for hurricane season was mostly to alert the newer people living there. I lived with them for years, and got rather accustomed to hurricanes.

The storms themselves don't bother me overly much. (I lived with Nor'Easters for 21 years. Talk a Cat. 1 Hurricane with snow.) What stresses me, or rather drives me nuts is all the hype and of course the people jamming the stores so I can't get what I want.

Oh I understand that.

Once a store down there sold 34 skids of bottled water in just one day.

The companies end up having to diverate shipments to other places to take care of stores near tropical storm tracks.

They are having a big deal here right now where you can buy certain Hurricane supplies tax free until June 12. (It started today.) Home Depot stocked up just for this and still ran out of generators. (This is all Home Depots in Palm Beach County.) One store recorded selling 36 generators in one hour. The funny thing is they still have the sales tax on Plywood. (The government says it's because this can be used for things other than Hurricane Shutters.) Now if we could just convince Jeb to allow sales of beer before and after the storms we would be golden.

We don't get hurricanes in Australia, we get cyclones! :nana: :nana: :nana:

Yep,

But I don't care what it's called. When Mama Nature decides to give you one of her patented Blow Jobs you are going to get blown.
