A World Untamed...

Gaia

"Coward." I spat.

using what strength I could mutter, I jabbed my staff into his middle, escaping his grip a little.

"you are in no position to tell me anything." I choked out.

With that, my spirit bear lept from my staff. Taking him to the floor.

Ooc: Siren, if they haven't posted by now, they aren't going too. If you want a more conventional answer though, they decided the jouirney was too adventurous and went home. You can still be in the story if you choose...

Sabaka wanted to help, but he knew it was useless. His magic was like bringing a stick to a sword fight, it would do no good. She had to pull through, or else he would fall just like that rest. Ferdy and Sara just stod around him, growling and squawking whenever anyone got too close. The defensiveness was outlandishingly couragious.
If it weren't for the fact that he had promised Rocky he would rescue the woman he would be out of here himself. He kept himself in the corner, waiting for someone to fall. From the sight of both of their wounds he could tell that it wouldn't be much longer. Blood and vines covered the floor.

Robert Sith:

"Don't you see?! We can't die! Your attacks are useless against me!" Sith hissed with rage as he touched the bears chest after it gave him a nasty slash of claws across the chest. The bear flew across the room, was dashed into the stone wall of Siths tower, and through it. Sith stood, his eyes smoldering with hatred as he clutched at the wound the bear had given him.

Gaia

"can't you see, I can't die." I stressed "I".

"We will continue this battle until the world ceases to exist if that is what it takes."

I stared at the blood flowing from his wound.

The spirit bear returned to my staff. My eyes danced in amusement.

I began to speak slowly, my druidic tounge returning to me.

I glanced out the window. The castle was completely covered in foliage of deep greens, thorns, and the woods of the forest.

I laughed. Cocking my head to the side, "I believe, that is what we would call...an advantage."

Cautiously I walked towards him. "what say you? Your purpose of taking me? "

Robert Sith:

Scowling as Gaia sauntered forward, Sith growled. "Then I will send you to a place where you will bother me... No more." And with that he lurched at her, his hands eminating a black energy.

OOC: Sorry, vacation.

IC: Lokken smiled at her. "I'm fine. Thanks for asking", he said. "Let's go over to Kitt", he suggested, then ran over to where Kitt was. "What do we do now?" he asked.

Gaia

(sorry, ya'll know I don't post friday or saturday)

I fell to the floor, the ball of energy glowing at my stomach. I began to gasp and sputter.

suddenly, the walls of the castle began to break, the tendrils of plants picked the castle tower apart and were barging in.

That is when I felt myself falling to the courtyard, my eyes rolling into the back of my head, The ball of energy unable to teleport me for some reason, it just continued to drain my energy. Vines whipped wildly around me.

Robert Sith:

Gaia launched away from Sith with an unnerving force. She was blown right through the tower wall, and fell to the desert sand below. Sith looked up sharply, with a cruel smile at the others that had been standing behind her. "Care to be next?" He growled, his hair limp and stringy as it hung down in his face, giving him the appearance of an unkempt mad man.

Well, the battle was over. His only chance lay limp on the garden. The poor woman, all he had tried to do was save her, and now he had helped to kill her.
Sith now looked like an inhuman beast. He suddnly felt like a bug that was about to be stepped on by a rather large human foot. How do bugs beat humans? Well, without some sort of poisonous avenue.
Bugs didn't beat humans, thats why they got squashed. He looked over at Sara and Ferdy.
"I don't suppose you have any ideas, do you?"
They each began to growl lowly at the man standing before them. Almost sighing he withdrew his sword. A small silence followed as the three advanced upon the man.
Ferdy walked to the left, and Sara advanced in the right. He came right on, hopefully the man would pull some kind of hard spell that would give the chance for one of the creatures to at least get a good punch in. He wanted to simply run away so much right now. A bug actually taking out it's little bug weapon and trying to fight off the human foot. What nonsense.
David killed Goliath with only one pebble. He had two mean animals and a sword, maybe... just maybe.
"Come your ways," he spat.

Robert Sith:

Lifting his chin in mild surprise, Sith locked eyes with Sabaka. "You must be joking..." Sith sighed as the fool marched forward. Sith lifted his still glowing hands, the black aura was impenetrably black, and it roiled about his hands like a thick black oil.

Drusilla followed kitt and Lokken her mind lost in thought. The sun was finally setting and soon Drusilla would be able to relax and not feel so dizzy. Forcing her attention to the path in front of her She followed her companions.

This was the stupidest thing he had ever done, in his entire life. He couldn't even believe he was thinking this, much less going through with it.
"I know I am a fool, but this is the only thing I can do. I am no coward, and I never back down from a fight," he swallowed hard, "Even when the odds were phenominal."
He watched as the animals were in their positions. This would give him a few more scratches to worry about, and maybe if they got in a lucky enough shot...
"Besides, what would you do in my situation?" he took another half step forward.

Robert Sith:

"In your situation... I would lay down my weapons and make haste away little man..." Sith said dryly, he stood his ground as Sabaka took another step forward.

Lokken charged forward suddenly, feeling something very sinister happening.

Drusilla called after Lokken trying to warn him some caution. She too felt the evil forboding but did not wish to run headlong into a trap.

ooc :Good to see my best Idea yet is flourishing...Mind giving me the sweet and Lo-down on the situation? *g*

This unsettled Sabaka. He stopped for a moment.
"Wait," the animals looked at him in surprise as well. He didn't think perhaps there was a third alernative besides running away or dying.
"Are you telling me that you, the great Robert Sith, lord over all the deserts would actually run in my situation?"
He couldn't actually believe that such a powerful man was actually afraid of anything. But he was, he was afraid of death. He had to be. Sabaka no longer feared it. He couldn't in these situations, but Robert did.
This could turn to an advantage.
"Why would you run like a coward?" his advancing had stopped. He would like to hear the man speak.

Gaia

(ooc. Hehe, I feel like I have taken over your thread ^_^. This is the DL. There are some still wandering in the forest, they need to get they asses in gear ;) but yeah, they are looking to save ...NAMES ARE ESCAPING ME AT THE MOMENT....to save what's his name's sister...damn me....They are coming to save me, I was captured...I am fighting Robert Sith, He sent me hurtling to the floor, Pooh's character is in the tower where I was in with Robert, who sent me over the edge....They are in a confrontation...hehe...sorry, not too good with some things, right now, not too good at thinking.... :p)

GAIA:

Growling, I felt the spirit bear emerge from my staff. He teleported and exchanged places with me. I cried out, Kneeling beside him. He lashed at me, he wanted me to go.

A silent tear rolled down my cheek, it formed a small bud at my feet. The bud began to grow, it took root, and began forming a tree. It advanced in it's stages, soon, it was a small young tree. It began to advance in years, It reached my height, a branch extended my way. I looked towards bear, I hesitated, the ground beneath me began to rumble with the growth of the massive roots. The tree leaned towards me. I grabbed onto the branch, with one last look at Bear, I sneered, I grabbed my staff.

Hurtling my feet upwards towards the branch, my accomplishment of standing on the sturdy branch was with ease.

The tree began to rapidly grow, twisting and gnarling itself, reaching for the sky. It was huge, the trunk massively wide, filling part of the court yard, I reached the torn open, crumbled tower.

I stood there. My eyes, radiating deep brown, The wind began to pick up. I cocked my head slightly, no words escaping my lips. I made eye contact with Robert Sith.

A disturbing smile flashed across my face. I blinked.

Robert Sith:

"You have nothing to protect you from a collapsing tower fool man. Can you not feel the rumbling beneith your feet? For though death will not come to you, pain will, in abundance." Sith growled. His tower wasn't going to stand much longer.

"I think it is in best interest to leave now," he looked at his allies. A fight now would certainly kill them all, no matter what the outcome. Sabaka glanced at Ferdy.
"You can't fly, can you?"
Ferdy shook her head. Sabaka glanced at Sara.
"You can't fly can you?"
Sara shook her head. This was getting nowhere fast. He didn't have flight learned yet. It would be a wonderful spell to have right about now wouldn't it, he had to learn it sometime.
Sabaka looked at the huge tree coming back up from the depth's.
"All right, on my mark we jump on the tree. Grab a branch or something. We'll climb down before the tower falls, get Rocky and be out of here."
The tree was climbing fast now. Branches wriggled themslves out like snakes. She was a powerful magician. Boy was she powerful. The entire desert had turned to forest, at least as far as he could see.
"Ready.... set... and GO!!"

Drusilla gave a cry of surprise when the desert suddenly became forests. She could do nothing but stare around in amazment.

Gaia

(ooc. I hate the weekends, I never get to post.)

My laughter began to fill the air, almost manical, the sound floated and was just a whisper, tugging on their hair with the wind.

The tree had grown sturdy and we were level with the men in the tower.

My eyes were wild, my hair whipping in the wind. I looked up, "what a tangled web we weave, picking on an innocent man? That, I will not stand for."

I looked over at the man who rescued me, I smiled. Then my smile turned evil.

I felt the forest growing, it was like an unknown euphoria, I can sense those who are in my forest, the second I felt two familiars step onto a blade of grass, I sent a vine flying through the air to guide them.

"And when things start making no sense, that's the cue to leave," Sabaka began climbing down the tree as fast as he could. Ferdy glided from branch to branch getting down fairly quickly. Sara took the longest, it was certain that she didn't exactly know how to get down from trees. Sabaka helped her as much as he could.
On the ground he looked back up at the woman. He hated the idea that he was going to leave her. It was apparent she needed help, he just wished he could give it to her.
He began to run back, but stopped. He ran again, and then stopped.
"DAMNIT!!!"
He turned around slowly, walking back over to the enormous tree. He crossed his arms in a disgruntled manner. He could not in good conscience leave her with that madman.
"Come on," the two animals looked at him confused, "We aren't leaving just yet."
