A "W" for the Democrats: GOP rebrands Obamacare strategy from ‘Repeal’ to ‘Repair’

I think we all knew all along that they didn't really want it gone, they only wanted to deny Obama his signature accomplishment.

It's not about denying Obama his piece of shit rip off scam that you love so much, it's about doing actual HC reform.

ACA was a shit show because O and his (D) buddies are corporate whores with absolutely no fucking soul, now it's (R)'s turn to try and not be such whores.......I have very low expectations but after being burned so badly by (D)'s they don't have to do much to be heroes here.

No, it couldn't be that. If the Pubs wanted to do actual HC reform, they would have done it when W was president.

Back when (D) had a say so and wouldn't let (R) touch HC even if they wanted to do single payer???

LOL

The only reason pubs are doing it now is because ACA is so fucking bad someone has to put a stop to skyrocketing costs and total destruction of the HC industry and the working/middle class of America for the enrichment of (D) elites.

You know if (D) hadn't been such greedy fuckers and done HC right? Hillary would be in the WH. ;)

That situation has never in American history existed.

Bullshit....

If they had any say in the matter right now they wouldn't let (R)'s anywhere near ACA under ANY circumstances.

Last thing they want to see is Trump improve upon Obama's shit show HC reform.

Because it's going to make (D)'s look SO fuckin' bad if they do. Just reduce the cost of ACA and expand coverage Trump will have made (R) the party of the working class, and (D)'s will be fucked. They will then become the big money elitist liars.

(R)'s ...I think maybe, just maybe, realize that and they just might be going for it because they have NOTHING to loose and everything to gain by giving the US the HC system the (D)'s promised and failed to deliver on.;)

Or they might be morons and blow this glorious opportunity to kick the DNC right in the fuckin' balls and instead cut their own nose off.

Both parties blow their chance to gore the other team right up the ass all the time so, never know.

Either way the ball is in their court and nobody has a clue how this is going to work out because Trump so we'll all just have to wait and see.

For some reason you're always wrong when you say that. This time is no exception.

I'm not wrong at all.

Democrats freak shit anytime (R)'s go near healthcare.....always have and as long as big pharma is throwing billions at them they always will.

Same with education....it's the (D) way or it's doomsday. Every. Fuckin. Time.

One of the worst things that could happen to (D) right now is for (R) to pull some pimpin' HC out of it's ass and we both know it :D

I have never in my life heard of a Democrat objecting to a Republican health care proposal, unless it is one to, say, reduce Medicare coverage. Obamacare is modeled on what Mitt Romney did in Massachusetts, and how many Democrats stood in the way of that?

Unless it's THEIR kinda HC that benefits THEIR billionaire buddies interest.

Which has pretty much been never. (D)'s with HC and education are "My way or the highway" types.

Obamacare is modeled on what Mitt Romney did in Massachusetts, and how many Democrats stood in the way of that?

Democrats did that, Romney just signed off on it because he's pretty much the biggest RINO in the GOP right after Trump.

Name one single occasion when a Pub proposed HC reform and a Dem objected.

A free market in health care what we've always had. Leaving it that way is no reform.

Bullshit, it's been socialized since 86'

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_Medical_Treatment_and_Active_Labor_Act

...which is why it's become a problem over the years.

Going back to a free market system is something a lot of people think would be a positive reform. (D)'s won't ever have any of that because freedom means no control and money grubbing for (D)'s.

Can't have that!!

Still, point is if Trump improves ACA just a lil bit....(R)'s will be the new party of the working/middle class.

If he does it really well? It's will silence all but the most in denial fringe haters and fuckin' destroy the DNC as we have known it to exist.

Can you imagine what would happen to the (D) base if TRUMP of all fucking people deliver what all their beloved (D)'s have been dangling in front of them for decades and NEVER delivered on despite numerous opportunities?

LOL...fuckin' done.

DNC leadership will be all...

Yeah, nobody really needs any medical care besides emergency medical care. They can get by until they save their pennies to afford that elective surgery or erection treatment.

Health care costs are high because everyone wants to be treated like a Cadillac, and the medical and insurance industry is too worried about malpractice to offer anything else. Medical costs were climbing at 250% of the rate of inflation before the ACA, and now they are climbing at 120% the rate of inflation. That reduction gets credited to the ACA, and nothing else.

Democrats like repeating that that nonsense, because it makes for a good sound bite. Which of the bazilian pages that make up the ACA has anything at all to do with what was done in Massachusetts?

What Romney care was was nothing more than Medicaid expansion. It was simply a way to steal money from the federal government to pay for their indigent. How can that possibly work on a national level when there's no Uncle Sugar for Uncle Sugar to steal money from?
