A Very Different World

So I had this in a dream.. well most of it. And I kinda decided to write it down and get feed back on what you all think. I know by having a dream centered around this I OBVIOUSLY have some major issues... lol

Maybe someone would like to help me write a story based in this world? or write one of their one that fits in this world?

Anyways, here you go.

A world ruled completely by Men in every way. They control the government, economy, media, amd the women. Keep the women utterly submissive, and so keep the men happy, and the world keeps spinning.
Women are subject to their every whim, with a few exceptions.

1. [Under aged reference removed per site rules.] After the age of 18 she may be ordered to do anything excluding vaginal and anal penetration. At her 18th birthday she must chose a man within a month of her birthday or she forfeits her right to chose and must go to a registered clinic.

2. A girl becomes a woman when she loses her virginity, and thereafter subject to all the fallowing rules and must wear the identifying bracelet at all time or she will be subject to the full extent of the law.

3. Any man may order any unwed woman to provide any sexual service anytime, anywhere with no exclusions.

4. Once a woman is wed she may serve only the man she is wed to and may never divorce or disobey him. The man may chose to divorce his wife at any time for any reason.

These rules are fallowed strictly to the letter as far as the government is concerned. There are of course women who disobey, and men who find ways to bend or just surpass the first rule. As these rules have been in place longer than anyone can remember no one has ever questioned why these rules came to be.

I already have an idea of a story I want to write but any input would be welcome.

If you're gonna post it on Lit, you have to bump up the 14 thing. Nothing under 18. Raise that up first and foremost.

As for the idea, it could work, but I feel you'd have to pick someone compelling to follow. Guys getting blowjobs is gonna get boring to read after a few. Are you following a rebel? A revolutionary? That'd be most interesting to me. Either that, or get inside a woman's mind. What does she think of the society?

New world? Sounds like the rules of any existing muslim country. Want that kind of debasement of women, go live anywhere in the middle east with the filth they call men.

Uhm, no. Of those Muslim countries which severely restrict the rights of women (which is FAR from all of them), most tend to also restrict what men are allowed to do to them sexually, which does not appear to be the case here.

Thank you for that clarification. I was begining to be worried that there really was a country you could strip a woman down and take her by force without any legal repercussions. Having an erotic dream built on that is one thing, but real life is a whole other..

Just ignore crazy uncle Lovecraft when he starts talking about the Muslims. He doesn't know any better...

You have much in human history to draw from as source material. Such things were present in a number of cultures and their legacy is still felt. You could do this as historical fiction, a fictional micro-kingdom that has wealth enough to remain beyond modernity, or I think science-fiction might work.

The Gor novels sound similar in the unbalanced power between men and women as an existing work. But I would suggest that in such a society the women might have other power or influence. Perhaps all land and hence wealth is inherited only through the women, or they control the only religion, or some other counter-points that add complexity and perhaps a reason for women to defend or even advocate the status quo to remain in what they perceive as true power. With that you could dig into a lot of modern or historic issues and explore the past, the present and the future of gender relations, politics, sex, etc.

I think it's a good idea to search through history for ideas. For example, the Ancient Spartans didn't really care much about extra- and premarital sex, because every kid became, for all intents and purposes, property of the state anyway. Does this society have perfect birth control? If not, what happens to all the bastards?
