a tribute to my Master
why am i a slave to this man? many could not understand. is it the sweet sensations and sexual pleasures He brings to my life? a bit i suppose but that is not all.
what makes Him so important to me? why do i need Him so? sometimes it is a mystery even to me. the feelings for Him and about Him are sometimes so intense that it scares me but still i know i would not be whole without His guidance and love. So let me try to put it into words though mere words cannot describe it fully.
the collar He has given me makes me feel i belong somewhere. knowing that that place is at His feet gives me a feeling of security. i know that, no matter what i do or what befalls me in my daily life He will always be there with a word of encouragment, a word of advice or a strong hand on my leash should that be my need. but no matter what, whether i have pleased or dissappointed, i know He will never give me any less than unconditional love.
i kneel at His feet because in doing so i feel fulfilled and because i am who and what i am today because of His sometimes gentle and sometimes harsh instruction and care. He is important to me because W/we have grown so much together and because He has promised me W/we will continue that growth. it is my faith and trust in His mastery as well as His faith and trust in my servitude that make this bond stronger than any i have had before.
it is who i am, who He is and who W/we are together that makes my life, my self confidence and my future what they are today. and i thank Him for what He has brought to my life and what He continues to bring to each day.
so, even though sometimes i am scared and feeling unsure i know, in my very soul, that this is where i belong and that feeling of belonging to Him and with Him is what makes Him so important to me.
