It's less of a patch than it is an implant.

I'm genuinely interested. We don't usually come over here, we find it boring. But you find it necessary to post on every never ending thread on the GB. I've got all the starters on iggy, I just don't see the rationale.

Why Sean, good to see you. I think I know the answer, pertaining to me anyway.

In my case, I was honestly looking for some threads that had intelligent discussion/debating/informative talk going on. And, to be fair, there have been some threads like that started on the GB. Every once in a while, I like to know people's honest opinions about certain topics and join in with my views, whether positive or negative. I like the feedback I use to get, and some have even complimented me, on occasion.

However, once I get passed a certain page number, all the bats come out of the belfry and turn an otherwise meaningful and thought provoking thread into a childish, name calling, AV bashing, intelligence insulting free-for-all. My grandchildren don't even act like that, and the oldest is ten!

I really want to try and join in on the GB, provided that the threads and topics are interesting. But some of those meatheads over there seriously need to grow up. It seems insulting and demeaning people is a hobby to them, and quite frankly it's getting dull... and old.

Until a good thread comes along, I'll stick with having fun here in the Playground... and leave the shit slinging to the moronic level miscreants on the GB.

As much as I am mostly (but not completely) centered around the GB as my Lit fun for the time being, I often wonder what it would be like for me if I had come to Literotica and went into the Playground/Author's Hangout first. Or had either of those two be the majority default section instead of the GB's dominance as the entry point for newbs and somewhat defacto face of the BBS.

I didn't even know there were boards. Took me a few months, as I (still) only hit the New Posts to see what's happening on every board.

I was interested to find out my friends at the AH and in the PG thought I had the plague from hanging out with "those people"

But I still hang out everywhere.
