A thousand years of bombings.

Are there nations, on this Earth, that are untouched by political bombings ?

Here we are, living in 2017. Our electronic technology can detect nearly anything. Yet, we suffer from attacks of the most primitive of devices.

We insist on celebrating, during massive gatherings of human beings. What better way, to share the joy of living ?

Yet, these events invite an opportunist, that exploits trust, love, and joy.

A few dogs, trained to detect explosives, are our best defense ? Do we not have devices that can detect chemicals that warn us, of imminent disaster ?

The bombs that have been used in terrorist attacks, are not sophisticated.

I agree, there is too much of this BS, but the downside is that it can be almost impossible to stop without having some type of law enforcement that dwarfs any police state the recent world has seen. Too many of these terrorist acts are done with every-day items.

The tools and supplies of most tradesmen, janitorial services, sportsmen, and every day citizens can be used to make bombs. With the right knowledge, a shopping trip to the grocery store or home improvement store is all you need.

Even putting bomb-sniffing dogs on every corner of every city, and more when there will be a crowd of people, still won't get 'em all. That doesn't mean it's hopeless, we still fight to stay safe from the crazy idiots who would harm us, regardless of their reason.

Good point well made. when everyday chemicals can be used to make explosives it renders detection equipment almost useless. I remember using weedkiller sugar and iron filings to make fireworks. The IRA were very fond of fertiliser bombs at one time.

Then, of course, we have our own arms industries who strive to make undetectable explosives for our armies to use. As soon as we trained dogs to sniff out plastic explosives the Czechs developed Semtex which was odourless.

Does it still come with a side of virgins?

Unfortunately, the translations were wrong. The clerics had too much wine when they transcribed that part, and when they wrote "72 virgin brides", they were supposed to write "72 vegan bridles". Now all of the recently departed terrorists are in the middle of a horse stampede weighted down with grass headpieces for the equine herd.

No. No. It was 72 Virginians, including George Washington. They were waiting for Bin Ladin, and they beat the shit out of him.

Maybe that's part of the confusion? With modern politics and SJWs, maybe the 13 Quaker men are now in drag (hoop skirts and broadcloth dresses with lace). The terrorists who used to do (Lit-blanked pet/ped-ophile references) are in fucking distress.

No matter which translation is used, women get the short dick :(

If we could stop backstabbing each other long enough to nag in unison...we would rule the world.

I thought you did anyway. It's just that men haven't realised in thousands of years that they are easily manipulated by women.

I thinK most men know that but, for one reason or another, don't mind. :)

Quiet, man! Do you realize the consequences should more than 50% of the world unite. We would be relegated to jobs requiring only heavy manual labour and used as sexualized objects.

In September 2006 dozens of wives and girlfriends of gang members from Pereira, Colombia, started a sex strike called La huelga de las piernas cruzadas ("the strike of crossed legs") to curb gang violence, in response to 480 deaths due to gang violence in the coffee region. According to spokeswoman Jennifer Bayer, the specific target of the strike was to force gang members to turn in their weapons in compliance with the law. According to them, many gang members were involved in violent crime for status and sexual attractiveness, and the strike sent the message that refusing to turn in the guns was not sexy.[8] In 2010 the city's murder rate saw the steepest decline in Colombia, down by 26.5%.[9]

In June 2011, women organized in the so-called Crossed Legs Movement in the secluded town of Barbacoas in southwestern Colombia, started a sex strike to pressure the government to repair the road connecting Barbacoas and its neighboring towns and cities.[10] They declared that if the men of the town were not going to demand action, they would refuse to have sex with them. The men of Barbacoas showed no support at the beginning of the campaign, but they soon joined in the protest campaign.[11] After 112 days strike in October 2011, the Colombian government promised action on road repairs, and construction ensued

In 2003 Leymah Gbowee and the Women of Liberia Mass Action for Peace organized nonviolence protests that included a sex strike. Their actions led to peace in Liberia after a 14‑year civil war and the election of the country's first female head of state, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

Reducing crime, affecting government spending and priorities, ending wars! This would only be the beginning.
