I still think Bowie sucks but I just realized that one of my fave lines of all time was written by him. Made me feel stupid. Until I realized he still sucks.

Same old Eebz. You've redeemed yourself, now where are Swedish Chef and Dillinger?

Hey, on subject this time...Do you like jazz? Specifically Coltrane?

Did you know his most acclaimed period was when he often pasted random newspaper headlines together to make lyrics?

More fuel for the fire.

Modesto, I need recommendations for my next purchase. Who knows about Jazz in this fucking hellhole of a website?

Not on an active level. It's not bad music and I really dig "I'm old fashioned" but I can't say I'm a huge jazz fan.

PC,

Sonny Sharrock?

Considered the Coltrane of guitar.

Try his album Ask The Ages. Personal favorite.

Edited to add.......

My favorite jazz musician of all time, which is a big statement. Pharoah Sanders playes on the album as well.

Okay dude. I'll give him a try, but I need more Coltrane first, and maybe some Miles. Thanks.

Miles to check out.........

Tribute to Jack Johnson - Two tracks of 20 some odd minutes. Fusion wihtout the pretentiousness that Miles embraced later on. Sharrock plays uncredited on teh end of track 2.

Live Evil - Re-released masterpiece of funk fusion.

Miles in the Sky - Yeah its more of his later work, so fucking sue me.

Jazz? Coltrane, yes but I like Johhny Hartman voise, it send thrills down me:)

I love the vocal jazz
