Greetings everyone,

I am no professional, but I have come up with a theory that fetishes, and fetishists can be grouped into a scale based on their desires:
Green-Level: (Ex. Feet, other body parts) Fetishes that occur in everyday life. A person with a green-level fetish is therefore "set."
Yellow-Level: (Ex. BDSM, bondage) Fetishes that exist, yet are not as common as green-level, really occurring in everyday life, thus forcing the fetishist to do a bit more work in searching for physical material.
Red-Level: (Ex: Furries, Giantess) Fetishes that as of now do not exist in the real world. They are condemned to mere fiction and fantasy.
I consider myself a yellow-level fetishist, as I am interested in bald women and women in diapers. If you have anything to add, please leave a comment below.

Best,
LadyDaisy

How about Black level, for those who you wouldn't admit to where anyone but the most trusted of people can hear!

Those possibly dangerous or illegal.

I would venture to say that Red-Level fetishes to not exist. Somewhere, there is really somebody with at least a scaled-back version of that fetish. But "scaled-back" is the important term, because even BDSM and bondage can be taken to extremes that only work on fantasy levels. I'm talking about stuff that you won't see on this site, of course, but there are stories on other sites where BDSM leads to disfiguring torture and snuff. Let's sincerely hope that these situations are indeed fantasy.

There is a of a difference between a kink and a fetish.

Fetish: a form of sexual desire in which gratification is linked to an abnormal degree to a particular object, item of clothing, part of the body, etc

Kink: any unconventional sexual practices, concepts or fantasies. The term derives from the idea of a "bend" (cf. a "kink") in one's sexual behavior, to contrast such behavior with "straight" or "vanilla" sexual mores and proclivities.

Fetish is more accurately a sub-set of kink.

Yes, I know the two terms are often used interchangeably, but still, words have meanings.

It's a pet peeve of mine.

Rant over, please continue with your thread.

How about fetishes like piss and/or scat?

Do not exist?

Some of my stories feature them - tentacles, unbirth, giantess.

I started writing them to meet the requests of specific Yahoo Adult Groups with thousands of members. My story The Virgin Unbirth was written with active participation from the members of a now defunct Yahoo Group about Unbirth.

There are specific websites for Vore, Giantess, Unbirth, Furry vore, spider-women, lamias... They are on the open internet NOT the dark web.

Even classic horror fiction has impossible scenarios for centuries.

Fantasy is unlimited.
