Your consistent presence, experience, insight, and thoughtful posts are always appreciated.

There may be those who disagree with you and even take issue with you but they have to respect you. And that dear, is a reward in and of itself.

LOL, now look what happens when I turn my back on the board to slave in the kitchen all day for birthday Master's pleasure?!!! The pleasure and gratitude are all mine as without the postings of so many who have the courage to share their experiences, who lend a voice to the board, who have the ability to share their laughter and tears, and offer help and support to others who seek it, there would be no board.

I have always felt it was a valueable place for me to learn and evolve, more so than ever of late when I find myself in a place I never expected, and loving it. Without the opportunity to learn from others, explore the edges of many realities through their eyes and wisdom, I would not be who I am, nor would I have felt so safe to venture into unknown territories. So thank you for the kind sentiments, and thanks to all who continue to make this the unique community it is.

I have learned so much from your posts, and when I PMed you with concerns for the safety of a friend of mine, you responded quickly and as it turned out she is safe and well today.

Thanks....the world revolves much better when we all remember we are human and stuck in the same place in time so it makes sense to work together more so than against each other. Part of that is sharing experiences, thoughts, ideas, and perceptions IMO.

Thanks for that...but I am just me, nothing overly special. To me my posts/threads may not always be that great, but I do always speak honestly from my reality and am open about what I feel and think, no cloak and daggers and needing to second guess what I am thinking/saying. (Mmmm, though there is something I am sitting on at the moment that I hope to share in time) It is an interesting journey I am on and if sharing it and the perceptions I and others experience on such journeys helps others, all the better. Some may not always agree, and that is fine....I am the last one who wants a generic 'I agree' echoed to any post or thread as I don't see growth in that approach.

After being here almost 2 years I am finding through the sharing of experiences, both those I have connected with, and those I have maybe at the time had little or no connection or understanding of, that I have evolved and grown in leaps and bounds which I am sure could not have been made possible without the help of others here. I am certainly not the same person I was when I began posting, nor will I be the same person this time next year, that I am now.

As I have said before, it is all the posters who make the board valueable, not one or two, nor some more special than others, more right than others...we are all unique, we are all a part of the whole we love and cherish in our own preferred ways.

I disagree with you quite frequently, as in many ways we're not on the same wavelength, but wanted you to know that i always appreciate your tone (and your -- is it serenity? something like that), your presence. Good to make note of these things, and Tell people.

As to disagreeing, that is what creates discussion and exploration of ideas....always a good thing. If honest and secure in voicing their opinions, no two people are ever going to agree 100% on everything....it is unrealistic to expect or want. It is not about agreeing to make sure you feel liked, or about not hurting another's feelings, IMHO it is about authenticity and integrity. I admire those who can have an opinion and respect that of others are not necessarily going to be the same.
