A story commission

Help! Is anyone able to write 1,000 words for $20 US. It is mainly a reluctance / non-consent theme with a mature, repressed businesswomen (40ish).

Here is a little bit of what the email said:

I would provide a detailed summary of the plot, characters and sex scenes, including several quotations to be uttered by the characters. I'm guessing that the prewritten stories could be anywhere from a couple to several type-written pages in length. The detailed summaries would probably be one to two pages in length.

My site is still work in progress [should be finished in 1-2 months], and has no writers on the panel yet who are willing to be commissioned. I've told him I'm too busy, and would he mind if I suggest a couple of other people for him to read some of their work and get back to me. He's agreed. He wants to do a trial commission, and if he is happy, request more commissions in the future.

I know $20 not much. If you are able, I would provide him with a link to your members page so he can see samples of your work.

I didn't think anyone would be interested, and probably have to tell the guy no!

As I said to Bel, I'll give him a link to your members pages so he can have a read. I'm not too sure what style etc he is looking for, and it may be up to a week before he decides. If he does chose to go with someone, I'd pay themby paypal if that suits.

I think he wants the 1,000 @ $30 [there are 3 different lengths people can choose from, and that is the shortest]. I would possibly charge $5-$10 commission, only because he wants to pay by money order [I generally only accept paypal], and it will cover the cost of conversion to aussie dollars etc.

EL got me thinking. I hadn't thought about commissioning a poem for a loved one eg for valentines day [although probably a bit late for this holiday this year]. Maybe about $15 to start with? Any thoughts?

Christmas, valentine's birthday's anniversaries...the list goes on. I think it's probably worth mentioning that people could commision a story/poem as a present, not just something for themselves. Also, maybe stressing that Non-erotic pieces can be written too?
