a step you should take for your online privacy

Good information, but better hurry, it's gonna happen 3/1.

Is there a mobile solution? I'm not finding those setting options anywhere.

I had a hard time finding it too, and I really wish I could tell you how I finally did. It took about twenty minutes and lots of frustrated cuss words, that's all I really remember, lol. Keep trying!

Stella, the latest version of Firefox has a no tracking set up built into it.

Just thought you might want to know. It's under tools, options, privacy. Very top one. You have to turn it on.

Unfortunately, the option only tells websites that you don't want to be tracked. it does nt prevent them from doing so.

At the moment, I don't care too much-- I surf for porn, and i kinda don't care who knows it.
*shugs*

So if the box in the upper right is telling me how to join, I don't have an account and can disregard this invasion of privacy?

Oh. Okay, then, how do you erase . . .

On the other hand, at my age, and already retired what can anyone do to me with what I look at on Google? Like you said, I don't really care who knows what I do. Fuck 'em.

EDT: But I ran down the gdocs you+ and deleted my web history and paused the collection process anyway. Maybe that will stop them sending me adds for mens clothing and accessories.

No. When I first tried to sign in, it said my password was incorrect. So I clicked on forgot password. It offered an option to have a code sent to my phone so I could reset the password. It already had my phone number, so I knew I had the correct account. After I entered the code they sent, I clicked on Accounts, and it asked me to sign in again. That's where I spent a lot of time... I think I eventually clicked on help and approached it that way. Eventually, I got there and got it changed.

I'm single and don't really care who knows where I've been on the 'net either, but it's the principle of the thing. It's not their business and I prefer for them to keep their noses out of it.
