I always find it bizarrely amusing how a lot of porn vids nowadays will slap “step-x” on anything to get it higher up the algorithm even when it has nothing to do with anything remotely taboo, to the point where you can build a staircase with all the steps you see in the new uploads of a porn site.
Anywho: What if all that step porn started effecting what people saw as the norm?
For example:
Stepdad loves his wife and stepdaughter. Stepdaughter turned 18 a bit ago and family is getting ready for her to go to college in Fall.
Only thing is: Stepdaughter is acting weird.
“Dad…I wrecked the car.”
“Oh no! I’m just glad you’re okay…wait, you haven’t even left the house today.”
“Uhhhh…I need money.”
“You have your graduation presents but okay, what do you need money for?”
“Uhhh, drugs and beer. I’m going to a party and I need drugs and beer.”
“…what?”
So stepdad goes to wife who tries to explain, only to make things more confusing: stepdaughter is trying to seduce him as part of a rite of passage. Wife explains that all the girls her daughter’s age think sleeping with a stepfamily member once you turn 18 is the norm.
Stepfather of course balks at the idea and then asks wife if she really buys into this. She at first denies this but admits part of the reason she married him was that if daughter decided to pick him to be her first, she’d be in good hands.
Stepfather of course is mortified. Story could then go a few ways, one scene could be stepdad asks daughter to watch some of the porn titles she got this idea from with him, hoping she’ll chicken out of that he can riff on them enough it will make her see the idea is stupid only for him to get a bit turned on

Stepparents are convinced their kids are fucking but are okay with it since they think that’s just what step siblings do…and step siblings are more than happy to keep up the charade so they can have relationships their parents would actually be mad about
