A Song for Everything

@DirkCamacho
My wife & I have been married 47 years. She likes this song...

Rainy Days and Mondays
Song by Carpenters

 Mondays

(Lyrics)
Talkin' to myself and feelin' old
Sometimes I'd like to quit
Nothin' ever seems to fit
Hangin' around
Nothin' to do but frown
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down

I Lift My Hands
Song by Chris Tomlin ‧ 2010

Healer

(Lyrics)
Be still, there is a healer
His love is deeper than the sea
His mercy, it is unfailing
His arms are a fortress for the weak

The Healer is an album by John Lee Hooker featuring guest artists. It won the Grammy for Best Traditional Blues Performance, and was John Lee's highest chart success. The title song "The Healer" is a duet with Carlos Santana.

Lord, Lord (must repeat the word at least twice, but more is good!)

@DirkCamacho
I selected this for you...
As Lady K & I are Christians
So are Mrs. C and I, but we are not fans of CCM. I was in a worship band for a few years and we played CCM and I really had to work to like that music. At my current church I'm also in the rock band but we only do worship service about 3x/year and we play pop music, not CCM. Our pastor (who's also in the band) says we'll never do that kind of music and I agree with him. Would rather do Dylan and the Beatles!

Lord, Lord, Lord
Song by Johnny Cash

King

(Lyrics)
Lord, Lord, Lord, is there a place for me
In the scheme of things
In the service of the King

I used to play saxophone but now I have chronic arthritis in both hands and even typing here is painful.
But now I sing baritone in our church choir which seems to be my calling because I love it..

Empathy
Song by Crystal Castles ‧ 2010

Convexed

(Lyrics)
Premise to interlude
Wait 'til all bones protrude
You're convexed, you're convert
There is a stain on your shirt

"Angel Food," Ani DiFranco

"if the mattress was a table top
and the bed sheet was a page
we'd be written out
like a couple of question marks
my convex to your concave"

Show me.

Show Me
Song by Kid Ink ‧ 2013

Baby

(Lyrics)
Oooh baby
I said baby (yeah) yeah (uh, tell 'em)
(Mustard on the beat, ho)
Baby let me put your panties to the side
I'mma make you feel alright
I'mma give you what you need quick, baby, it's the remix

Sorry about your hands. My wife plays alto sax and she's in the church band with me. It's great to play together. (Our band is called The Ruling Elders, which if you're a Presbyterian is a pretty great name.) We are in two other bands together too.
