What is your favorite color for a rose?
Different colors do represent different feelings.....

e.g. red=passion; yellow=friendship

I like the wild English dog rose best, growing in its native hedgerows. They tend to be pale pink or white.

I love a white rose. I think they are beautiful. I also love red roses, but to me they have become too commercialized. I know my husband is really thinking about me and what I would like when he brings home white roses, rather than the easily accessible red roses.

I like yellow ones best. I'm not that keen on red, they are comman. I like a bunch of mixed colours, being an artist I enjoy the mix of colours.

I would like to think that if someone was going to buy me flowers they would have slipped into a conversation asking what my fav colours were and then went and bought me flowers in that colour.

My favorite roses are the wild ones that grow in my pasture. They're tangly and unkempt with these tiny little almost pink but not quite flowers on them. The flowers are flat, not ruffly and have the most beautiful scent.

Wonder what that says about me?

I read somewhere that its nice to treat oneself to
flowers from time to time, but its not the same effect
as when someone who cares about you gives you
a beautiful bunch of roses, or any other type of flower

I have just been round playing guitar with friends and I noticed that they had flowers. We got talking about the effect they have - how they bighten a day. So I have decided to go out tomorrow morning and buy some because- like you two - I don't get them bought for me.

We've got roses that are already blooming, but it's just one bush. Don't ask me how, but this sucker is blooming, and the flowers are nearly black. It's a red rose, so it actually looks good.

peach!

I had a pink tea rose that grew so tall and had so many blooms on it. It really faded out in the sun but it was the best smelling rose I have ever come in contact with.

The best looking rose I have ever seen tho was my Matador Rose. It was brilliant orange on the tips, which bled into a wonderful peach color. It was the color of peach sherbet.
