This is purely to vent some irritation on my part and is a petty thing in the scheme of life. I ws emailed by a friend that someone in the Chat area is using my first BB name Gingersnap. They are using the name gingersnaps in the chat room. I know it is a different but it is close enough to mine that some may mistake it for me.

I know it is silly but I have a special affection for the Gingersnap name. Gingersnap met and flirted and fell in love with Roger here on the BB. I like to think I made some friends here too. Gingersnap also is hovering at 999 posts. She will reappear one of these days.

I am not too sure where I am trying to go with this little rant. I think it is a combination of things, not the least that I do not want my name associated with a romp in the family room even in jest. So I guess my point is that the person in chat and the person on the BB are not the same person. There I feel better now...... Thanks for letting me sputter on...

In chat there is my name and there is also a georgiagirl(with some numbers after it). The two of us have talked and we live close to each other and do randomly get the others pm's.

Oh well, if the person pays that small an amount of attention that they cannot notice the difference in the two names then I don't see any real reason to concern myself with it.

Now if someone showed up with my other chat name Pierced Puss I would be torqued. That one is mine.

But it became more of an issue when I started to receive messages for her. Myrddin, I'm not sure that many people accross the entire planet will know that Merlin is the anglisised version of Myrrdin.
