Ok first of all Hey to everyone,
Second this is my first thread so the more people join in the better i will feel! :)

Ok lit users i think it would be great to see the view from a window in your house (room/flat whatever)
If enough people subscribe we could really see how far lit has dominated the world!
I will start

Doh! not sure how to get image saved on hard drive onto this site! anyone help?

On the bottom of the post reply box....just above the submit reply.

Says Attach file....browse your files and attach the one you want.

But if you preview reply you will lose the attach and have to reattach.

(did any of this make sense?)

that is a nice looking yard, speaking from a guy who has to mow lawns and appreaciates the absense of mid lawn obstacles

You don't want to see my view, it's just a bunch of cars and the newer apartments opposite of me.

Wait....is that a naked male torso I see? Hot damn! Take it all off!

I will be glad to join in Neobyte, and welcome to lit!

Your yard looks quite nice, and is that a bonsai I see near your window? I am a bonsai junkie! I have 15 of them and will have more as soon as they mature from seedlings and begin to be trained as bonsai.

What species do you have there?

Here is the view from off my back deck in Autumn.

Wow

Hey Starfish and thanks for the welcome,

That view looks gorgeous!:) And well spotted it is a Bonsai tree!
It's a Serisssa Foetida The tree of a thousand stars!
about ten years old now!
What do you collect
Wow fifteen i have trouble looking after just one!:D
:rose:

Thank you.

Serissa is my favorite tropical genus of all time. I love the look when in bloom, and because it is stinky, my cats didn't mess with mine, but it had a vascualar disease and died. :(

I have only two indoor bonsai now. The rest are outdoor, because I love the break from care that winter gives me.

Here is a list of my trees.
2 Ficus
5 Pinus nigra (Austrain Pine), all being trained in different styles.
1 Acer palmatum 'Sharp's Pygmy' (Japanese maple)
1 Acer palmatum 'West Grove'
1 Juinper chinensis of some blue variety (Juniper)
2 Rhododendron x Girard 'Girard's Hot Shot' (Azalea)
2 Picea glauca `Conica' (Dwarf Alberta Spruce)
1 Carpinus betula (European Hornbeam)

Here is a pic of the best of the best so far....aside from the Acer 'Sharp's pygmy'.

Let me try to dig up my bonsai thread for you, though I never finished the thread.
