Is there a difference between Love?? and Sex and what is the Differences between the two?? if there is a Difference.

Of course there is a difference.

Sex is a physical act based on biological needs/drives.

Love is an emotion

love is also based on needs/emotions and a driver

love is something you feel. sex is something you do. i don't see how one could say there is no difference between the two. sex can be an expression of love but it is not the same as love itself.

I agree Nessus, as for the question, I have loved deeply of a woman, but never had sex with her. and (believe it or not) i dislike having sex with some one unless I can say I truly care for her. Old fashioned? maybe. but it is how i see it.

I believe in loving sex with all the lust of a new partner. I try not to confuse infatuation with love. I believe that the commitment to be with another person (love?) includes the expectation of sex staying the way it was in the begining. You can be a perfect spouse, have great communication, but, if the other is cruel enough to psychologically/physically withdraw sex from you, you have the right to seek it elsewhere and effect a divorce. :D

I agree totally. Thanks seXieleXie for wording it so well.:)

YES there is a big difference..
You can have sex withsomeone without love... and you can have love for a person withour sex.
There is one person I love and she loves me to, but we both know nothing sexual is ever going to happen.
And what about people that go to nightclubs for a one night stand? is there Love there if those people just met that night?

Yes I believe in love at first sight but not like that.

HUGE differeance between the two in my mind.

Love is something that is Mental and Emotinal, but can go on without being physical.
Sex can be Mental and Emotinal but it cannot exist without Physical part...

so the Defferance between Love and Sex is Physical.

Thanks Lexie, that's perfect, no sidestepping just straight to the point!!!!:)

I think, that if you love a person, sex and love are the same. With that peson.

If you don't, then sex isn't love. It's physical attraction. A one night stand, a cheap relationship. Sure, it may be good sex, but without love... -shrugs-

I, too, concur with exactly how seXieleXie put it! Very well said...

Now, sex can lead to infatuation, which depending on the individual, may be confused for Love. But True Love is so much more!

sex to me is fun and all but leaves you feeling empty the next day ..where as love can leave you feeling full forever..but sex with the one you love cant be beat

There's definitely a difference... for reasons and arguements refer to the above posts... *feeling lazy today :) *
