Usually that happens when somebody reports the story for breaking the site rules e.g. under-age sex. If it does have comment that breaks site rules, it'll probably stay "under moderation" unless and until the author reworks and resubmits a fixed version.

Your best bet would be to message the author, if they've enabled that, and ask about the story. They may not even realise it's been suspended.

If it is an alternate ending to another authors story then it might not ever be posted. Not unless the new author has permission to use the first authors stuff. It's called plagiarism.

Not an alternate ending

I got to read about half of it before it was removed. It was the same basic story as RG's, the names were changed. In the original story the husband forgave and lived with both women. I think this story was going to BTB.

The original post stated that it was an alternate ending to another authors story. That does not fly unless he had permission from the original author.

It's called plagiarism and Laurel doesn't usually post stories like that.
