Though I’m a shrew and a slut and a teary-eyed bitch
you accepted me as I am and allowed me my niche

When I crashed on your shores and my heart had a rend
you all gave me sweet comfort and called me your friend

You allow my blather, my crap, poor verse and the like
without kick me out the door or a “Go see a psych”

You skills and you knowledge is quite simple to see
What is still harder to fathom is your friendship to me

While I am in awe with the prose and the poetry part
I am much more impressed by the size of your heart.​

Thank you all. .................... My girl Mariah says it pretty good too!
