"I haven't had pussy in weeks," the pirate said, "if we don't find some soon I'm going to burn this ship down."

The captain sighed. I'm just a babysitter. "Considering how far we are from land it will be a few more weeks before we see anyone, should I spare myself the headache and toss you overboard?"

His eyes flared. "No, that won't be necessary Captain," he said, "but the longer we wait the chances are someone else will be thrown overboard."

"Duly noted. You are dismissed." Captain Eric said.

They had been sailing off and on for the past several years, plundering and pillaging, being a thorn in the side of the rest of the worlds navies. Stealing what they could and selling the rest. They didn't know another way of life, but if they did it wouldn't change the fact they loved being pirates.

The captain stated out the window at the vast ocean. I coulduse some pussy as well, he thought.

"Prepare to defend yourselves men! Pirates are approaching on the starboard!"

Gavrielle felt the rush of terror and excitement, and the crew began rushing about in preparation for a battle. The first mate handed her a sword. "Stick close to me lad, and try not to draw any attention to yourself. Most of these pirates won't have seen a woman in many months, and a fair youth like you will look plenty tempting to the likes of them."

Her cheeks flushed bright red at the thought. She had disguised herself as a young man in order to travel safely without an escort. The only thing that mattered to her when she left home was escaping from an unwanted marriage. She felt shocked to realize that her meager precaution to protect her modesty and virginity might be no protection at all. She had never considered that a man might attempt to force himself upon another man, no matter how young or feminine he was. The world of men was far more rough and terrifying than Gavrielle had ever considered possible from the sheltered comfort of her father's home.

"Have you ever been in a navel battle before Gavin?" The first mate asked.

"Never," she answered honestly. She had no idea what to expect.

"Look alive boys! Fresh meat!"

The captain smiled. Everytime they boarded a ship it was the same. Trying to scare everyone, hootin' and hollerin', intimidation was key. Once the people saw the ships they were frightened enough, seeing actual pirates board was something different. Threats were fine but the imagination did all the work for you.

They got closer to the ship, swinging on ropes and landing and rushing to attack. The captain didn't join in with the initial group, experience said the risk was greater for being hurt or killed, and besides, how else would he command?

His lieutenant Sam came over with a grin on his face. "This looks like an easy one captain. No one is putting up a fight."

"Don't get too cocky, when people get scared they surprise you."

The ship was an impressive sight as it drew nearer, and then there were men scurrying from one vessel to the other. Gavrielle held her sword at the ready, but had little idea how to use it effectively.

The first mate, her friend Ben Johnson rushed forward into the fray, but she hung back, mouth gaping at the sudden unrestrained violence all around her.

One of the men spotted her, and came at her sword drawn. She managed to block his initial lunge, but after a brief tangle of swords, she felt her own sword torn from her hand and sent flying into the air. She bolted away, barely evading the tip of his blade as it swooped past her stomach.

Then Ben was at her side, fighting to defend her. He easily defeated that man, but no sooner had the enemy gone down, then two men were upon him, and these seemed more skilled than the other. She watched in horror as they mercilessly cut him down, then turned on her.

"Yield! I yield!" she cried, trying to remember to keep her voice to a low register. The two men smiled with grim satisfaction, as they advanced on her.

The first cast a wicked smile at the second, saying "Look at this one, seemed tough at first then his balls fell off."

The second laughed. "His little friend was tough and look at what it got him. At least this one has the brains to know when it's useless to fight back."

The first pushed Gavrielle down, taunting "Come on tough guy, come back up and show me a thing or two."

"Leave him alone, don't want to rough up anyone who yields, the captain would want to talk to them, especially ones who look so dainty." The two of them laughed, as if this was the funniest remark they've made, which it probably was. They lifted Gavrielle up and walked her towards the cabins quarters.

Gavrielle lacked the physical strength and the combat finesse to do anything other than allow herself to be knocked about and then dragged off by the two brutish men. She felt weak in the knees, but on the whole she considered herself lucky to have taken such minor abuse. She had no idea what to expect from here.

She wondered for a moment if she would have been better off staying at home, and accepting the marriage that she so desperately wished to avoid. Was it really worth the danger she currently faced?

It may have been nothing more than stubborn pride, but she decided that it was worth it, at least so far. She didn't know what would become of her now, or what treatment she might receive at the hand of this captain, but she refused to regret her decision to leave home. She had seen more of the world over the past few weeks than she had in her entire life before. If she was going to die it was better to die having lived at least a little while.
