A Pirate Story

Good Job

Ham, I'd like to give you some nitpicks but as my brain has quit functioning for the evening, I'll just say that I enjoyed the story.
The one thing I CAN think of is that I was mildly (read: eensy weensy) frustrated that she gave in so easily. I think I would have been MORE excited ('cause it was an exciting story -- I like nonconsent but haven't written any yet) had she not given up her 'fight' so early. I would have liked to have seen her moaning and groaning through repeated, vocal denials. Just me.
All in all, good writing, nice plot, exciting characters that left a lot to the imagination, which I like sometimes.

Ya dun good. (tee hee)

Yes, I'll agree with that. It was well written, and I couldn't find any problems with it. It seemed as if you paid attention to the historical detail (apart from making a brigand a ship), and she seemed like a believable lady from that time.

However, as the page went on, the sense of place and time weakened. She could be just any naked female, the watchers just any naked men, and her reactions could come from a woman today.

Thanks

Thanks for the comments so far, including the appreciative emails. In answer to a few of those: yes, I am working on a sequel in which Isabella is now on the giving side. I welcome all suggestions - let me know what pushes your button! ;-)
