Each year at Christmas each of my daughters hand make something to give to each other.
I wondered, if you hand made something personal, say out of wood or clay, etc. what would it be and who at Lit would you give it to.

Since I'm pretty new here I don't know too many people close enough but here goes some ideas:

For the makers of this site - a medal of gold for a job well done

For the Countess - a small wooden statue of Thoth, the Egytptian Goddess of Learning, to help her get through her final semester

For Nobody Specials Wife - a life size clay statue of Kurt Angle so she can kick his ass

For Kitten_Eyes - a miniture metal street rod with a cat in the driver's seat

For all the other good people here - a wooden post to tie up the trolls

I'm afraid I have no talent in the craftsman department, everyone will have to settle for white chocolate and raspberry cheesecakes.

Well as far as craftman ship. My abilities could be better, so I usually dont venture out in clay molding or wood work.

However there was one time where I wanted to give a girl something personal.
At the time she seemed to be the insperation of pretty much every cord I took on the guitar.
So I sat down and made her a song. Composed the mysic, wrote the lyrics. Rehearsed it endlessly and finally recorded it for her on a CD.

When the day came, I sang it for live. Serenading her if you like, and then gave her the CD with the recording of same song.

That was a pretty good experience. Felt good to do
