Any Jewel fans here? A female Jim Morrison, or did she write a poetry book to turn a buck? I don't know how much she sold, but on B&N alone I counted over half a million if you add books, CDs and cassettes.

I like Jewel in moderation. I did not like her other work however. That is just a personal opinion of course.

That said,I believe she thinks of herself more as a poet,thus she wrote it for herself,not to make a buck. Although I am sure she isnt turning any of it down.
