I can understand why you want to hide for a while.

I have the kind of job where my status as a Lit writer wouldn't go down at all well. I'm not entirely sure how I'd react in your position, but I'm such a stubborn bitch it's possible that I might brazen it out, then get my own back by writing a story about the stalker and mailing them the URL.

At the end of the day you have to keep this in mind - whoever he is, he came to Lit because he has a smutty little mind that needed some kind of fulfilment; you came to Lit because you have the talent to provide that fulfilment through your words to thousands of people around the world. If there weren't people like him coming to the site, there'd be no need for people like us.

How far is he going to take this? Is he likely to go round mutual friends / colleagues saying, "This guy writes erotica. I know, because I surf erotic websites."? Bear that in mind. The chances are that he's writing as much of a tight rope as you are.

My advice is definitely to write some kind of humiliating story about him - just use his first name, an fairly accurate physical description, his job title, and put up a disclaimer saying that any resemblence to real characters is coincidental. See how he reacts to that one.
